CLUB RULES AND POLICIES

As the new season opens, please take a few minutes to read over the Meadows Club Rules:

1. Members and guests using the facilities of the Meadows Club must comply with the rules and regulations established by the directors. Persons not adhering to the rules will be requested to leave the premises and the noncompliance will be reported.

2. The facilities of the Meadows Club are primarily for the use of the Club members and their families.

3. Members and guests are responsible for their own valuables.

  1. Members and guests must be signed in at the front desk each time they enter the Club.

A member must accompany guests at all times.

5. Please be courteous to the staff. They are there to serve you. If you have any problems, please refer them to the Club Manager, Dale Mood.

6. Pets are not permitted on the Club premises.

7. Food or glassware of any kind is not permitted in the swimming pool or tennis court area except under the shelter next to the pool and in the club room.

8. Proper disposal of gum has been a problem and its use is strongly discouraged.

9. Please place litter in the proper receptacles.

10. No roller-blades are allowed inside of the club.

MEMBER'S PHONE

The member’s phone is intended for outgoing calls only. Please follow these guidelines with regard to this phone.

1. The purpose of this phone is to make outgoing calls. There should be no reason to use the office phone (this phone will be for official business and reservations only).

2. Please do not use this phone for calling information to get numbers. We do not want to have a bill for calls to information when a phone book could be used instead.

3. This phone should not be used for court reservations. Please call on the office phone for this.

4. Please limit your calls to a few minutes, especially if someone else is waiting to make a call.

1. The aquatics staff is in complete charge of the swimming pool area and have full authority to enforce safety regulations and courteous behavior.

2. Nude, soap showers are required of all swimmers prior to entering the pool.

4. No children under the age of six will be permitted in the pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

5. A person with a contagious disease or open sore will not be permitted in the swimming pool.

6. Floatation devices, fins, goggles, snorkels, balls and similar swimming pool equipment will be permitted in the pool during lessons and at other times, at the discretion of the lifeguard(s) on duty.

8. Confine food and beverages to designated picnic areas. Do not bring glassware into the pool area. Please place all litter into receptacles.

  1. Do not run or push when near the swimming pool.
  2. Parents should supervise children carrying fishing poles and fishhooks through the pool area to the pond.
  3. The policy regarding rubber rafts and similar floatation devices in the pond: life jackets must be worm at all times.

12. Large rubber rafts may not be left at the club overnight.

BABYSITTING CHANGES

Due to the fact that so few members use the Club provided babysitters, it is no longer economical for the Club to offer this service. However, the Club would like to try a different approach to still help those who may be in need of a babysitter. We would ask that any children who are Club members, and are old enough to babysit, and are interested in being a babysitter, to call the Club office and register. We will compile a list and make it available to Club members in need of a sitter. For those of you who have nannies who are not Club members, please remember to register them at the front desk. There is a $5 per week charge or $50 for the summer for these nannies.
